How you can help – Manchester
Thank you for visiting the No Barriers Foundation website. We’re really excited about our new project – Ready to Read – which is partnering with schools, communities and organisations in developing countries to fill empty libraries in the poorest schools.
In order to expand our work and to improve the education of thousands of children, we need more books!
If you have any children’s books (ideally for children aged 3-5) that you are able to donate, you can drop them off at the following locations:
The Eighth Day Cooperative, 111 Oxford Road, Manchester M1 7DU
The University of Manchester (Ellen Wilkinson Building) M13 9PL
Sugar Junction – 60 Tib Street, Manchester, M4 1LG
Nexus Art cafe – 2 Dale Street, Manchester, M1 1JW
Airyfairy Cake Boutique – School Lane, Manchester, M20 6RG
World Peace cafe, 76 High Lane, Chorlton, Manchester, M21 9XF
We’re hugely grateful for the assistance we’ve had from the businesses and institutions above. If you have a larger donation you are able to make, please contact us separately and we can arrange a collection.
If you have any questions about how you can help or how to get involved, please get in touch.
